HTSC Declares RMB 0.18 Interim Dividend for H1 2026; HKD 0.208 Payout Set for 23 October

HTSC on 28 August 2026 announced an interim cash dividend of RMB 0.18 per share for the six months ended 30 June 2026, following shareholder approval on 26 June 2026. Based on the fixed exchange rate of RMB 1 = HKD 1.15566, H-share investors will receive HKD 0.208019 per share by default, while an RMB settlement option is available.

Key timetable: • Ex-dividend date: 10 September 2026 • Latest share transfer lodgment: 11 September 2026 (16:30) • Book-closure period: 12–17 September 2026 • Record date: 17 September 2026 • Currency election deadline: 6 October 2026 (16:30) – partial election limited to HKSCC Nominees • Payment date: 23 October 2026

Withholding tax framework: • Non-resident individual shareholders: 10% standard rate, subject to treaty relief; up to 20% where no treaty applies. • Non-resident enterprises: 10% withholding. • Mainland investors in H shares via Stock Connect: 20% rate, though mainland enterprises may self-report; exemptions apply for enterprises holding H shares continuously for at least 12 months.

Convertible securities: Holders of the company’s Zero Coupon Convertible Bonds due 2027 (listed on the Vienna MTF) must exercise conversion rights by 26 August 2026 (15:00) to qualify for the interim dividend.

Payments to A-shareholders (including GDR depositary) and Southbound Trading investors will be made in RMB, while other H-shareholders will be paid in HKD unless an RMB election is lodged by the stated deadline.
