ASSET CHAIN Reports Narrowed Annual Loss for Fiscal Year 2026

ASSET CHAIN (00616) has announced its full-year results for the period ending March 31, 2026. Revenue from continuing operations reached approximately HK$96.75 million, representing an increase of about 115.7% year-on-year.

The annual loss attributable to shareholders was HK$74.054 million, which narrowed by 79.73% compared to the previous year. The loss per share was HK$0.06.

The company stated that the reduction in loss was primarily due to several factors: (i) a reversal of impairment on development properties held for sale; (ii) an increase in net gains from fair value changes of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss; (iii) a decrease in losses from the sale of investment properties; (iv) a reduction in losses from the modification of convertible note terms; and (v) lower finance costs. These positive effects were partially offset by an increased impairment on properties held for sale.

Specifically, for the year ended March 31, 2026, the group recorded an impairment reversal of approximately HK$83.78 million on development properties held for sale. This contrasts with an impairment charge of about HK$129 million in the previous fiscal year (2025), marking a decrease of roughly 164.8%. This significant reversal was mainly attributed to an increase in the net realizable value of the Kennedy Town project.
