Chu Kong Pipe Issues Profit Warning: 1H 2026 Net Profit Expected to Fall to No Less Than RMB40 Million

Chu Kong Petroleum and Natural Gas Steel Pipe Holdings Limited (Chu Kong Pipe) announced that preliminary unaudited figures indicate consolidated net profit for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will be no less than RMB40.00 million. This represents a steep decline from the RMB171.70 million recorded in 1H 2025 and the RMB246.30 million achieved for the full year 2025.

Management attributes the profit contraction primarily to geopolitical tensions and logistical disruptions in the Middle East, which delayed delivery of the Group’s steel pipes during the reporting period. The company expects the postponed revenue to be recognized once regional conditions stabilize.

Despite the near-term setback, the Board remains cautiously optimistic, citing China’s 15th Five-Year Plan focus on energy security and clean energy, which is expected to accelerate domestic pipeline construction and underpin demand for Chu Kong Pipe’s products.

Detailed interim results are scheduled for release on 28 August 2026. The Board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
