Fresh Explosions Rock Multiple Iranian Regions, Targeting Key Air and Energy Facilities

Explosions have once again echoed across several locations in Iran, with reports indicating strikes on critical infrastructure. According to correspondents, at approximately 21:28 local time on September 1st, new blasts were heard in the southern regions of Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and Lavan Island.

Further explosions were also reported in Chabahar, located in the Sistan-Baluchestan province, shortly afterwards. Adding to the escalating situation, a correspondent in Bandar Abbas confirmed that multiple additional explosions were heard in the city around 22:30 on the same day. This brings the total number of attack waves targeting Bandar Abbas to at least three during the night.

In a separate development, Iranian sources indicated that at approximately 21:40 on September 1st, US forces launched an attack on the Jiroft Airport. Jiroft is situated in Kerman Province, roughly 200 kilometers from the provincial capital, Kerman.

Additionally, the strategic energy hub of Assaluyeh, located on the Persian Gulf coast, also reported hearing explosions during the evening. The political and security deputy governor of Khuzestan Province confirmed that areas near the provincial capital, Ahvaz, were also subjected to missile strikes by the US military.
