Shenyang Cracks Down on Illegal Veterinary Drug Sales: Two Stores Under Investigation

On August 24, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Yuhong District, Shenyang, issued a public notice regarding a media report from the previous day about veterinary drug stores in the Zhangshi Logistics Park illegally selling controlled veterinary drugs.

In response to the report, the bureau moved swiftly, coordinating with the district's public security branch to conduct an on-site inspection and handling of the issue. The authorities have since sealed the involved drugs and business records at the two implicated stores and formally initiated investigations.

The bureau has made it clear that any illegal business activities will be dealt with resolutely and without leniency. Looking ahead, the district plans to launch a comprehensive special inspection and rectification campaign targeting controlled veterinary drugs, aiming to strengthen regulatory responsibilities and standardize industry practices, while actively welcoming public oversight.
