Hutchison Port Holdings Trust raises US$500 million through 5.125% notes due 2031

Hutchison Port Holdings Trust (NS8U) announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, HPHT Finance (26) Limited, issued US$500 million of 5.125% guaranteed notes due 2031 on Aug, 27 2026.

The notes were priced at 99.700% of principal and pay interest semi-annually on Feb, 27 and Aug, 27 each year until maturity on Aug, 27 2031.

All obligations are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Hutchison Port Holdings Trust and its wholly-owned unit HPHT Limited. The issuer or a guarantor may redeem the notes in whole on or after Jul, 27 2031 at par plus accrued interest.

DBS Bank, HSBC, Mizuho Securities Asia and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) served as joint bookrunners and lead managers.

Net proceeds will be used mainly to refinance existing indebtedness, with any remainder earmarked for general corporate purposes. The notes are expected to be listed on the Singapore Exchange on or around Aug, 28 2026.
