Shenzhen China Bicycle Company (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (000017.SZ, "Shenhua A") has issued a formal announcement addressing its recent sharp stock price fluctuations, clarifying several key aspects of its business operations and financial performance.

According to the company's statement regarding the severe abnormal trading volatility, its jewelry and precious metals business is primarily concentrated in the design, processing, and supply chain segment. The company serves downstream brand owners, distributors, and wholesalers by providing these design and processing services, but does not operate any gold ornament brand retail activities.

Furthermore, the company explicitly stated that it has no involvement with any APEC meeting-related business. It also highlighted a fundamental valuation difference between gold trading companies and gold resource stocks, suggesting that its business model should not be directly compared to resource-holding miners.

For the first half of 2026, Shenhua A reported a gross profit margin of 7.59%. The company cautioned that the direct impact of rising gold prices on its performance is limited. Fluctuations in raw material prices, which are significantly influenced by both domestic and international economic conditions, could adversely affect the company's product sales gross margins and the value of its inventory.

In a notable clarification, the company confirmed that it generates no revenue from AI-related businesses. As of now, its subsidiary, Amini Zhishu Technology, has not yet commenced any substantive operations. The anticipated future support for jewelry design from this subsidiary is expected to have only a minimal impact on the company's overall production, operations, and financial results.
