Hong Kong – China Biotech Services Holdings Limited (abbrev. CH BIOTECH SER) announced the completion of a discloseable transaction whereby BGI Songhe has acquired a 6.25% equity interest in the Group’s subsidiary, Pengbo (Hainan) Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

All conditions set out in the supplemental agreement have been fulfilled, enabling the investment—referred to as the “BGI Songhe Investment”—to close. Following the transaction, CH BIOTECH SER retains majority control of Pengbo (Hainan), which will continue to be consolidated into the Group’s financial statements.

Management underscored that the additional capital expands Pengbo (Hainan)’s funding base and elevates its corporate profile. The investment signals BGI Songhe’s confidence in the subsidiary’s Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) Centre and supports the Group’s ongoing commitment to providing BNCT treatment services for cancer patients.

The Board of CH BIOTECH SER comprises three executive directors—Chairman Liu Xiaolin, Dr. Huang Song and Dr. Yin Ye—and three independent non-executive directors: Mr. Yan Guoxiang, Dr. Guo Yuantao and Dr. Zhang Xiao. The announcement was released on 7 August 2026 and will remain available on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and company websites for at least seven days from publication.
