China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited reported first-half 2026 operating revenue of RMB 14.64 billion, down 6.5% year-on-year, as wind-power output fell on lower wind speeds and higher curtailment.

Net profit attributable to equity holders dropped 28.2% to RMB 2.53 billion, and basic earnings per share declined to RMB 0.30 from RMB 0.42 a year earlier. Profit before tax contracted 25.1% to RMB 3.86 billion.

Wind-power electricity sales and other wind revenue fell 9.9% to RMB 12.46 billion, reflecting a 6.67% decrease in wind generation to 31.27 TWh and a lower average on-grid tariff of RMB 457 per MWh (–RMB 20). Average wind utilisation hours slipped 120 hours to 982 hours.

Solar-power performance partially offset the decline: revenue from solar rose 20.4% to RMB 2.05 billion as generation increased 22.22% to 7.51 TWh.

Depreciation and amortisation expenses grew 9.3% to RMB 6.80 billion on higher installed capacity, while personnel costs fell 28.7% to RMB 1.52 billion after remuneration adjustments. Net finance expenses eased 6.4% to RMB 1.59 billion, helped by lower foreign-exchange losses and reduced average financing costs.

As of 30 June 2026, total assets stood at RMB 268.11 billion and total equity attributable to shareholders reached RMB 76.76 billion. The capital liability ratio improved to 93.3% from 95.3% at year-end 2025, and net gearing edged down to 62.9%.

The group added 397 MW of new consolidated capacity in the half, bringing total consolidated capacity to 46.39 GW (32.49 GW wind, 13.90 GW solar). Capital expenditure amounted to RMB 5.60 billion, down 52.6% year-on-year.

The board did not declare an interim dividend.
