Hangzhou Tigermed Consulting Co., Ltd. (TIGERMED) announced that its board approved a new plan to redeploy the remaining HK$1.23 billion of unutilised proceeds from the company’s 2020 H-share offering, subject to shareholder approval at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The H-share listing originally generated net proceeds of HK$11.82 billion. After a series of reallocations in 2022, 2024 and 2025, Tigermed still held HK$1.23 billion unused as of 28 August 2026.

Under the latest proposal: • HK$300.00 million will support organic expansion of clinical trial and clinical-related service capabilities over the next five years. • HK$200.00 million is earmarked for selective domestic and overseas CRO acquisitions that complement existing operations. • HK$300.00 million will be applied to repay outstanding borrowings as of 30 June 2026. • HK$430.30 million will serve working-capital and general corporate purposes, including HK$200.00 million for corporate, administrative and IT expenses, and HK$230.30 million for day-to-day funding of clinical trial, clinical-related and laboratory services.

Management stated that the revision is intended to enhance financial flexibility, cut financing costs and accelerate sustainable growth, while leaving the company’s core business focus unchanged.

If approved at the EGM, all reallocated funds are expected to be fully deployed within 60 months of shareholder approval. A detailed circular and meeting notice will be distributed to shareholders in due course.
